Wonderful recording. Turn it up and close your eyes, you can easily imagine yourself in the cathedral.

We're working our way through this work, and although it's more than 3 ½ hours, it's absolutely no punishment!

Very solid singing performances, wonderful orchestral accompaniment, good recording.
What a star cast!

Händel composed this beautiful opera when he was only 24...

The booklet counts 113 pages, and is well taken care of.
