Personally, I won't use the Elipsas for theater use mainly because the only center speaker avaialbe in the Cremona line is the Cremona Center M. Not sure if you've ever auditioned them in person, but the way they sound is completely different due to the differences in their baffle designs. I would go for the Cremona M's for the fronts, the Cremona Center M for the center, and the Auditor M's for the rear, for better blend and transition. The Elipsas should be used exclusively for 2ch, unless you have the budget to buy 2 pairs and use 1 speaker as the center and sell the other one (and buy a pair of Auditor M's or Auditor Elipsas with the money).

I heard a home theater with the Elipsa front left/right and cremona center and they sounded great to me.

If you go back to some of your post's about the Elipsa on AK you have liked them from the start. If you get tired of the SF home theater I'll buy your surrounds and center channel

Elipsa? Yep, I've always liked them. I also enjoyed the Cremona Auditors, the GMs, I even warmed up to the Cremona Ms but it took me a while with that one... The two pairs of Wilson speakers were too fresh in my mind when I borrowed the Cremona Ms.

The Sophia 2 is hands down the better speaker over the Cremona M though. The Sasha? Fuggetaboutit, game over my friend. My dealer hasn't sold any Cremona Ms since he started selling Wilson. In fact, I don't think he has sold much of anything at all besides Wilson which are selling very well for him indeed.

There may very well be a day when I switch over to Wilson but it will take time. The ball is in their court, once all the surrounds and center match Sasha/Sophia 3, I'll open up my wallet once again. Of course you'll be the first to know about the lightly used SF speakers.

Nice choice IMO.

In that series, the graphite is very pretty (the natural maple is too loud for my taste & I'm a natural wood lover -- oak, maple, birch, rosewood, narawood).
