Default Glue for lp cover repair suggestions

i have some old lp covers that are falling apart. is there a type or brand of glue that i should use?

Are there any brands of bookbinding glue that you could recommend?

Depends if you intend to sell any of the LPs in the future. Some collectors will insist that you use the same glue as originally used...!

would anyone be able to buy the exact same glue used in the 60s or 70s?
how would anyone know if a different glue was used? by taste?
