Ok. You removed the 4 screws on top. How about the 2 screws on the back of unit that also secure the top lid.

Ken.......Thank you for the extra effort. There is a substantial difference in the two motherboards. Does the new MEN220 have a toriodal transformer or just the small transformer on the motherboard?

Ken.......Thanks again. There is a major difference in the power supply of the newest MEN220 iteration versus the original. It looks like the balanced output section has been redesigned to accommodate true balanced output. The original board pictured still had the balanced output issue that was yet to be corrected.
This elevated circuit board with Lyngdorf silkscreened on it seems to be replacing two elevated boards in the same general location on the original motherboard. The Analog Devices Black Fin dual core processor and the Spansion flash memory chip are most likely where the Room Perfect measurements, filters, and processing are handled. This appears to be a major overhaul of the original two boards for the same purpose. New  Original

Any way to determine which version is most desirable? The elimination of the Toriodal power supply seems concerning, but does the upgraded electronics (if they are indeed an upgrade) make up for it?
