Default Capacitance for Moving Coil carts.

Is the capacitance setting on phono preamps just used for MM, or can there be any audible effect on MC? I know resistance has a big audible effect for MC, just was wondering .

Just for MM cartridges.....capacitance doesn't really come into play with MC cartridges....You may want to check out this thread http://www.audioaficionado.org/phono...-question.html
