Default MQA: A Review of controversies, concerns, and cautions

... so what are your thoughts - will MQA last and will Tidal and MQA (and Roon for that matter) be a service to seriously count on and build a „future“ music collection on? Or will one or the other format/service disappear- and with it the collection people have build upon it...

Default Blockchain will review downloads over streaming

To me tidal sounds just as good as my cd’s and MQA sounds better. You should consider a aurender demo then you will understand

I think that eventually blockchain controlled downloads will win over streaming and thus MQA.

Eventually though, blockchain technologies will disrupt everything including streaming as it will be possibly to instantly ship music files via private block chain, such as Hyperledger, in a secure way and fully respecting ownership rights.

I’ve just got my Sim 380 DAC back from an upgrade to their new Mind 2 with among other things full MQA support.
All I can say is wow! Tidal Masters sound very good indeed.
This is a big improvement over regular Tidal.
