give the Ayre CX7-e MP a try, stellar performance for a reasonable price (IMHO)

When you search on google you can see pics of the inside. (this is how a power supply should look)

Few forum members said the DAC inside the DG-58 is comparable to the DC-37 and DP-720. Even though the power supply in the DG-58 may not be as sophisticated, these 3 units sound similar. I don't have any personal experience however.

Since the DP-550 is below the DP-720 and above the DP-410, I imaging the DG-58 will sound slightly better.
I'm upgraded to DG-58 and must to say that according to my taste DAC of DG-58 is better that DAC of DP-550

DP-550 will be discontinued next year as was told by the local distributor. But not sure about DP410 and DP510 is not in production anymore.

I have just received my dp550. (Esoteric K03x or Accu DP550..this last is my choice)

the sound performance from the dp550 with a dc37 for me are better vs the dp720.

if will be discontinued is too becouse can give you a performance not so not so inferior compared to the 720..and this is a problem for Accuphase! the consumer in place from the 720 = 7k more expensive (ca.) vs the 550 dont have so much sense to existe! with the price difference the poeple can have other gears or simply save this money.

I use the dp550 only for play cd, no Dac or other: I just was looking for a quality CD player and my choice was the DP550. I'm happy.

I have tried other players (ARC ref6 and ref9, Moon 750d, Esoteric K03x, Ayon cd3 sx)

Nice choice! Great setup you have there, can you tell what's the rest of the system?

Pioneer P3?

That rack is commercially available or was it DIY?

Cheers
