Source volume control
Does Accuphase Cd player / DAC have digital volume function? If so, how good are they?

Why not ask your local dealer Edward. He is a great guy.

"Digital level control provided in Accuphase CD player is for the purpose of precision attenuation in digital domain, and not for total volume control." The Accuphase Culture - Dagogo | A Unique Audiophile Experience IMHO the bottom line is: always use an analog preamp, preferably with AAVA. Martin |

The volume control is in the digital domain of 1db steps. I set mine at 0db. I also read somewhere that a pre-amp is needed from any Accuphase source, even with one that has a volume control.
