Default Best "out of character" albums?

So every group or artist comes to be known for a style of some sort. Sometimes it's the sound they started with, sometimes the sound they grew into; sometimes it's something else entirely. What is your favorite album that breaks the "character" of the group/artist? As I write this, Fleetwood Mac's "Fleetwood Mac in Chicago" is spinning- thus the thought
