If they opened a factory in my town, well then, all the kings horses and all the kings men, would indubitably stop them making assault rifles again.

Keep in mind the word AND. Those AK47s sold in America are "modern sporting rifles" and not capable of automatic fire, they are only semi like any other hunting rifle. They just look scary to hoplophobes.
