Default YouTube led me to some great artists

Funny, I was listening to a Marty Stuart album on my stereo and I heard this song so I wanted see if there was a Youtube video of it. So I played it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8yRN3qEvUs

Then I saw Marty had played Pipeline with someone "I" had not heard of before named Kenny Vaughn so it led me to this.

Well after hearing Kenny Vaughn I wanted to hear something else by this new artist which led me to this. Wow!!

This iz a great way to find new artists.

I am downloading the hi-rez version from HD Tracks. It may be sort of a western concept album but it offer some great tracks. This isn't really a country album, more of western music.

Default Kenny Vaughn

is a guitar MONSTER. However my post from 2015
My taste lean towards roots and alt country. Last year I bought Marty Stuarts new cd after hearing it on xm,fm and you tube. The songs were good , the performance and musicianship were top notch. Something was lost in production, the bass. There isn't any even using the the limited tone controls of the c2500. Are these people to whacked out when listening to playback ?
I maxed out the bass control, moved the 7Ts to the wall and zilch nada. I rarely play this cd because it sounds like crap. Sad thing in person, they always have great sound

Love your "Surf's Up" avatar. Reminds me of "Big Daddy Roth?" from when I was just a kid.
