Big congrats!! That should be an excellent pairing! What else did you consider? What swayed you toward the Krell? Great choice!!

I knew I wanted to try a new sound, stray away from the lush and warm McIntosh signature.
I looked at Bryston but two separate auditions of the 14sst2 left me disappointed…IMHO.
I really liked the sound of Classe-heard a pair of CA-M400 but 4 year old amps combined with a higher than market asking price made me take a pass.
I considered a pair of ARC Ref 150 but decided I wanted more power to drive my rock and hip hop tunes.
I needed something that would produce crisp, tight bass and be able to deliver mids and high in a detailed manner.
I have never heard the 302’s or any of the Evo line before. That being said, most of the equipment I have purchased has never been auditioned. I rationalize those decisions on not having the opportunity to take the component home and hear it in my environment.
On that note, I have never driven the Ferrari 458 Italia or Spider but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t give it back because it was too slow or soft in the corners.

So, there is some blind faith the Krell’s will perform as well as I believe they can.
Thumbs are crossed.

Well, that just mean. Please resend it in a format so I can blow it up and tape it on my wall....right next to the red Lamborghini LP5000s

Mark - I think it's brilliant! Krell gear is so darn good. I've always dreamed of some Krell amps. The evo series is amazing. Great choice! Let us know how it sounds. I bet your speakers come alive!
