Ordered dCS 4 stack Paganini -- to be picked up at dealer next week (w/WW & Crystal)

A few weeks ago, I had placed an order with my dealer for a Puccini CD/SACD; but, since it would be an order for a black unit, I told him to hold the order until I gave the final okay, incase if I changed my mind (I heard the Puccini earlier in the year at his store and was blown away -- using MC2301's/C500T and Sf Elipsas).

Well, this evening, I cancelled the dCS Puccini order and ordered a 4 stack Paganini (DAC, Transport, Master Clock & Upsampler). To power the DAC & CD/SACD I ordered 2 Wireworld Platinum Electra Power Cords, and for the transport of 1's and 0's, 2 Wireworld Platinum AES/EBU cables and 2 Crystal Cable, Dreamline Firewire ((1394)) cables will deliver them.

So, spank me with a hickory stick.

After the beating, I'll be wiping the tears but smiling or snickering inside while standing and listening to the best digital I will ever have the fortune of hearing in my mostest abode.

I can't wait to walk into his store next week and admire the dCS components; especially after seeing the Puccini earlier in the year. The dCS web page does its best but, in person the stack is down right beautiful in CAD construction & shiney silver. Each chassis is an exact replica of the next & thus, a stack is so visually appealing & yells 'play any CD/SACD you wish and sit down and be on the stage.

More to come. My near-term schedule nor his permits a pickup this week nor weekend. Looking at mid-to late next week.

Note to self -- buy a new pen that has enough ink to complete the check writing.

I wish my dealer would have thrown in a HRS rack -- 4 stack dCS weighs (out of the box).......95.6 pounds!!!!!!

Sure does Joe -- what am I doing up at this hour -- need to awake in 4 3/4 hours. Oh well, will sleep on the couch with a power nap this weekend.
