Hmmm. Such attention to detail from the reviewer.

In the first sentence. Stereo amps -
Pass xa100.5 - is a monoblock.
Esoteric a-100- is an integrated amp.

I really hate these types of errors, it should not happen.

Anyway, back to the thread. Todd, great room and system. Always great when a component synergises into the system.

I am anxiously awaiting the completion my KWA 150 to KWA 150SE upgrade. I found a used KWA 150 for sale in Portland, OR, and had it shipped directly to Dan in Amboy, WA.

has any body compared the kwa 150se to the Pass Labs xa 160.5?
i have been told that the Kwa 150se will be better for my Sasha

I've heard both but not in the same system. They are both excellent amps and in many ways very comparable. I believe the Pass to be slightly more rich in the midrange however the KWA150SE is much less expensive. If you need more power running the MW as monos x 2 is less still expensive and also runs the first few watts in pure class A mode as well. As I'm sure everyone here knows I'm a huge fan of ModWright and believe they produce phenomenal products. I don't think you could go wrong either way.
