Jérôme.......Thank you. In my life I have been a boat in the wind, also. Sometimes you just do not have much of a choice.

In my younger days I have lived in apartments and rented houses like many people, and always managed to upset someone with my stereo. I have had neighbors above, below or next to me that did not like me to turn my stereo on at any volume. It always irritated me to have to live under such circumstances. This became one of the factors in my decision to own enough property, so that when I built my home, I would not have to cater to some neighbor over listening to my sound system. I am so thankful now to be able to enjoy my sound systems without having to apologize to anyone.

Cyril.......I know you were teasing. I just wanted to explain my circumstances. It was always difficult to completely enjoy my sound system in days past when I was always worried about my neighbors. It is such a pleasure not having to worry when you want to raise the volume level to a realistic level.

Does the 3-way AA really image as well as the 2-way GM?

Tommy.......The Amati Anniversario's image very well with a wide stable sound stage. At this time I am still experimenting with minor position adjustments to get the very last few percent of performance in the room. The Amati's are a bit more difficult to move than the GM's, so I have to be careful not to make too large of an adjustment to positioning between listening tests. I am very close to being completely satisfied with their location. To answer you question directly, yes, the Amati Anniversario's do image as well as the Memento's. What takes the time is finding the perfect place that allows the bass to work perfectly. The Amati's have a strong low frequency performance advantage over the Memento's.
