Serge.......Interesting article. I can't help but wonder what impact from pulsing medium voltages and cycling high frequencies may have on a vehicle's electronics that remain energized even with the ignition off, i.e computers, security systems, etc. I would hate to be shortening the life of electronics while trying to extend the life of my battery.

I agree Dan, perhaps it would be fine in most cases but one never knows and I would hate to be in a position to be paying for diagnostics and possibly a damaged ECU or other sensitive modules. I would rather buy a new battery whenever it is time. I simply use a CTEK charger, they are the largest charger company around. https://smartercharger.com/

I really don't know why I got it at the price I did unless they simply increased the pricing later.

The below comments are not just to you but simply in general.

That's exactly why a standard charger like many of us use to use is NOT the way to go.
