Default MB100 question . problem

Hi, I searched the forum for my problem, I didn't see it addressed.

My dealer loaned me his demo MB100. i wanted to use it for local music storage from music I burned from my CDs, and for streaming Tidal. I thought this would be a better option that using a PC or MAC for stored music, I am beginning to think this is not true, and I am thinking maybe this unit is a POS...but I digress...

So the front LED is not lit, so I figure there has to be a setting.

So I hooked everything up, got a good server address.

When I go to my iMac and type in the server address into Safari or Chrome, the browser brings me to the window to play music from the HD, or stream Tidal, et al...which are working and playing correctly.

The problem I am having is I can't seem to get to the main set-up window, the one that has the tabs for display settings, server settings, content, etc...it just keeps on bringing me to the player window. I have to get to this window to import music, or see if there is a setting to turn on the LED on the front panel.

I held down the power button to reset the unit, and no matter what, it brings me to the player window when I sign in with the browser.

So if I right click anywhere on the player window, I see an option for Media Bridge set-up, I click it, nothing happens, the browser stays on the player window, pop up blocker is off.

So does anyone have any idea how the hell I can get this thing to the main set-up window?

On a side note, what the hell were they thinking putting a fan in this thing that is loud as a refrigerator?

I don't see this being a mainstay in my system.

He also ordered me a brand new MEN220 to try out, judging by your reviews here, I think I will have better luck with that than with this MB100. Haven't got to the MEN220 yet, I can only deal with so much frustration in one weekend.

Thanks.
