Put my dog down today

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our Golden Retriever, Sadie.

Sadie was a well-traveled and cultured 13 1/2 year old. Having lived in the US Virgin Islands, Both Florida Coasts, Key West, and MN. Her travels allowed her to enjoy swimming in the Caribbean sea, Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. After moving back to Minnesota in 2016, Sadie enjoyed playing in the back yard, woods, and occasionally jumped in the lake behind our house when no one was looking.

She enjoyed car rides of any kind - whether running up to the hardware store or cross country road trips. She never met a stuffed toy she couldn’t destroy within minutes, and never met a human she didn’t try to lick to death. She was a sweetest and most caring dog anyone could imagine, and used that temperament to bring smiles and comfort to the residents of Presbyterian Homes over the past year during her weekly visits.

Our family will greatly miss the love and affection she consistently gave.

Fare thee well Sadie.
