I am not sure that I agree with your view. I feel that the new Diamond Series actually is actually less warm than the D Series. A bit more accurate. I think B&W moves a bit more towards the middle with the Diamonds, just like Wilson moved more towards the middle (from the other side) with the Sasha's when compared to the WP 8's.

I guess we all have different points of reference.
