Stephen.......So, the Nova system with Sonos is making those Altec 617-8A's in the Barzilay cabinet get up and rock. Good to hear.

I know tha there has been some interest in the new Peachtree NOVA...
So, I thought that I would post a few comments. I have had it for a couple of months driving a pair of VERY efficient Altec 617 drivers in my Barzilay cabinets... But I thought that just for fun, I would move it into the big room and hook up some REAL speakers. The NOVA does an amazingly good job driving the OB's to impressive levels with lots of detail and clarity. The fact that you can slip a Sonos ZP-90 into the back of this thing makes for a really nice compact package. Others will surly know more than me, but the DAC's in the NOVA have been very highly reviewed and are made by the same makers of the DAC in the MCD-500. I listened to the nova for the first time yesterday. It is gorgeous, and sounds fantastic. The store I was in had it hooked up to itunes in a mac computer via USB, and the entry level $650.00 B&W's. I have to have this for my office! Marantz 18 for sale, Peachtree nova here I come.
