I was hoping Boulder had a lesser DAC to match their lower tiered product lines. I'm ignorant to Boulder's product line, but this DAC seems like a DAC with an internal music storage for playback, maybe a streamer too? I can't tell.

Some companies include a DAC in the preamp, I'm wondering if this is the only DAC they offer.

Yes, although I didn't contact them personally yet.

There was rumor of an 800 series digital source, but it never materialized.

In the 1000 series, the 1021 network disc player is getting a bit long in the tooth...

I'm sorry to learn your google is broken. From their web page, here's some highlights-

**Accepts streaming (USB and UPnP/DLNA Ethernet) and traditional (HDMI, Toslink, S/PDIF and AES3) digital input connections

**Plays online audio and video services such as Tidal, Spotify, Netflix or YouTube via HDMI inputs, including video throughput

**Artist, track name, album name, cover art and file type information is displayed when available during streaming

**Decodes MP3, FLAC, xFLAC, WAV, xWAV, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AIFF, OGG Vorbis, and DSF (DSD 1x and DSD 2x) music files

**Automatic software updates when linked to an active Internet connection

**IR remote and networked IP control for use in stand-alone systems or fully integrated homes

**Supports all common digital data rates and resolutions

**Internal volume control for direct connection to amplification

**Differentially balanced version of Boulder's Precise Interval Clock to eliminate jitter and maintain ultra-precise data timing at the DACs

Best Sir,

Bob
