Bryston is also very good at this price point but not made in America.

Of course, McIntosh speakers would make a great match for your McIntosh gear.
Aerials are in fact made here (in Boston) but use ScanSpeak drivers (Denmark) throughout. I have the 6T's - about ~$7K new; narrower in profile than the 7T's. I back them up with REL subs; very happy with the results.

Since you already have good subs, the 6T's may be an option; the 7T's go deeper (28 vs. 35 Hz), have a bigger mid-range driver, and a more robust enclosure (more bracing), but very similar overall. I listened to both speakers side by side with Michael Kelly (owner/designer). The 7T's were overall superior but the 6T's did slightly better with imaging (maybe...). Since I was pairing with subs, the moderately lower cost and svelte size swayed my to the 6T's. No regrets.

-->Aren't Bryston made in Canada? Close enough I think....

edit: should have started with the last post (Bryston Model T's). Seems like Canada is close enough after all!!

They were ordered right before Ivan went bionic. I believe Ivan said they might have had one last brand new pair in walnut, which is a special order. So maybe a couple of weeks? If not, a few more?
I stole my children's Emotiva tower speakers for now, so I will survive...

I keep looking at random pictures of them on the net every night, its driving me insane

Hector:

You will love your Model T's! I chose a custom finish as well (Rosewood) and they are simply gorgeous. Add to that the fact that Bryston is a phenomenal company to deal with. I now have a 14bsst2 amp and BDA-3 DAC in addition to my Model T's.

Can't wait for pictures. Oh, and make sure you have some help inbox inch them. They are big and heavy!

Oh boy, I am REALLY hoping this is not the beginning of a new trend... I'm just getting ready to call it "I'm done". To tell you the truth, I am really hooked on those blue Mcintosh meters, and I don't see me replacing them with Bryston. However, I do like what Bryston is doing on the digital end

Hector,

I'm fully with you on what Bryston is doing digitally, but I'd be hard-pressed to switch from McIntosh electronics to Bryston electronics... and I have been seriously tempted...
