Default JBL for home theater

Thank you for all the great advice. Unfortunately, I am in Washington state, which is about as far away from Tampa as you can get. However, from what you say, I don't need reconing for the 2245's, so I can get the refoaming done at the local (Tacoma, WA) JBL authorized repair center, and just the refoam from China shouldn't be too bad......one problem solved. Thank you.

Any advice for my second problem? I think it's about time I replaced my L-C-R channels, rather than refoam/recone the 4410's. Do you think I need all 3 channels the same - 3 6332's? Or can I get by with a CBT 50LA array for the center without throwing the sound from the front out of balance?

I suppose an alternative solution would be to send the 4410's (the woofer, which I think is a 127H-? (not sure if it is H-1, H-2, or H-3) and the midrange, which I think is a 104H-2, in to speaker exchange for reconing). I figure the new 6332's have to be a significant upgrade to reconed 4410's, but that is just a guess. Any thoughts?

Ideally, the front sound stage speakers should all be matched. If not identical, at least same brand and timbre matched.

Default JBL for Home Theater

Well, that settles it then. I guess I need 3 JBL 6332's. If they last as long as the 4410's, it will be money well spent. Thank you again for your input. It is so nice to have access to experts in JBL audio.

Default JBL Home Theatre

1KW, the JBL Project Array 880 Center Channel speaker is one of the best in the JBL line. It is part of their S Y N T H E S I S system of speakers. While it is true that you will have a hard time finding these speakers to listen to they are well worth the effort. I use the same center channel in my H. T. and it's the best one I've ever used for this purpose. It will run you about $1500 to $2,000 to pick one up ( List is $3,750.00 or was last I checked) if you can find a dealer that can get one. It is being said that JBL has put these back into production so they should be available. The way I got mine was that I found out that JBL/Harman had a stash of them put away for warranty reasons and I got the dealer to bug his rep to get one for me. After about a week of trying I got mine. It is a beautiful looking speaker as well as being very true sounding as a center channel, but hey, that's what it was designed for. I use mine with the JBL project Array 1000 as the left, center, right set up. It will also match up with the Project Array 1400 and the Project Array 800. If your into JBL then this is the way to go for home theatre and it won't break the bank.

Dear JBL-experts.

I'm new to JBL and I'm looking for a nice center speaker from them. I tried the STUDIO120 and I really liked it. Then I noticed the ES25 and now I'm stuck

I can't seem to make up my mind concerning those two and I really need the help from you guys. Any suggestions, pros/cons or something that I should consider?
The STUDIO120

The ES25

My setup is at the moment:
Amplifier:
Onkyo TX-NR609

Front and surround:
Celestion MP1
Freq. Range 70hz-20kH (+/- 3dB)
Rating: 150W Max
Sensitivity: 90dB
Impedance: 8 Ohms

Best regards
