Just taken delivery of a pair
The s/n is 103 and it looks like they shipped from the factory in August '11.
Are these in fact a limited edition? Doesn't say that anywhere on the website. |

Anyone have a idea how many Ktemas were made? Are they still producing this speaker or are they truly limited?

If they are anything like their little brothers the Accordo, then they must be very special indeed. I had an in-depth listening session to the Accordo's and it was simply sublime, with unbelievable involvement, neutrality and musicality.
One of those rare speakers that will probably become a classic. I would like to hear the Ktema's |

Yes the Ktemas are truly wonderful. Have a chance to buy Accordos at the fraction of retail, but cannot seem to make pull the plug. I have the Ktemas and don't see any reason to purchase the Accordos for a second system. Highly recommended!!

At what size room can Ktema play?
My room is´nt that big - 380 by 410 centimeters. But it is acoustic treated with Acoustica Applicata DaaD´s and others. Right know i have a EgglestonWorks The Camilla in my room. No problem at all. But they are not just me. To bright in the sound. The Accordo from Franco have also been in this room, and they sounded beautiful. But this is a small speaker and i was missing the lower volume ;-) So thats why i´m considering the Ktema. I have Accuphase A-70 to drive them. |

I have A-70 running my Ktemas in a small room and sounds great at low volume. You will not be disappointed.
