Default Power cord for subwoofer

Is there a benefit to upgrading the stock power cord on a F112v2? And if so, what is the appropriate level of power cord?

I would appreciate some advice and recommendations.

I bought hospital grade power cords. They are well built (must be to be used in hospitals for equipment) and fairly cheap. Not sure of any musical benefits. I just needed well built longer cords than what came with the units.

You will get the most benefit by connecting the subs to their own separate electric circuit than spending hundreds on a power cord.

Default Cords

Excellent advice from Nicoff.
You can find hospital grade cords at Mouser Electronics for example.

Anybody else find the AC plug on the Fathom F113/2 easy to dislocate? I'd like to replace the stock cords for something with a tighter/more secure fit. Both my F113s are relatively easy to disconnect from the mains just by brushing the power cable. I haven't talked to JLA about this but I have wondered if it's a common issue (with the standard cord) and if they have a solution. Maybe I'm just a klutz.

The original cords were a bit short and led to tripping a few times. Klutz here too I guess. [emoji51]
I replaced the original cords with longer, hospital grade cords. Less than $20 bucks at Amazon. No more tripping here.

I suggest a Audioquest Thunder. It's the cheapest of the new line with the braided design.
Best decision i made in that Power-Cable-Sector so far.

I'm pretty sure his answer was just because of the loose Cord and nothing else.
