Kev... beautiful floors & rug! The trials of moving & getting it just right again...It's a start for those wonderful Strads but don't despair...The rug works & the drapes close.

Are you amiable to some further room treatment?

How does it sound so far? May I suggest Vicoustic Wavewood panels?

It would also help if you could take a pic of the side & rear walls.

I am going to do drapes all sides of the room, maybe a system for 2 channel/h.theatre so am thinking along the lines of a 14BSST2, SP-3 & BDP-2, the 28's for me are just too much tax on what hearing I still have available. This is my second night with the strads & effortless comes to mind......P'S.We inherited those peanut butter drapes, am taking offers...

Those speakers look familiar! You didn't get them off another AA member from Sydney who got a pair of Wilsons ... did you?

Nice setup! Love the Strads....listening to mine right now. Question for you - it looks like you have a MacBook Pro....why did you chose it over the Mac Mini? Some of the fuddy duddy's say the Mac Mini sounds better - but I've compared my Mac Mini to my MBP and can't hear any difference.....unless I'm running a lot of apps on my MBP.

What is sitting under your MBP?

Really clean setup. I get it sounds amazing.

Mike

Strongly recommend the Mcintosh 2301's with the Strads. I would be physically twisting your arm if I could! . A c500c/t with HT bypass would be a sweet Preamp.

For center/rear channel/HT - a 303/MX151 would be incredible.
