Tony, on the plus side of things: the extra money you'll earn can be for a special audio treat!

The video is now unfortunately a classic, so true and evidence of the downfall of society..LOL!

Bart, enjoy the 3 months and set boundaries...enjoy the extra audio joy this may bring!

Similar to myself although I was forced to retire early do to health. I have one guy who is determined to not let me fully retire.... He keeps gaining distributorships and needs me to help out. I work less than you but it allows me to keep alert and gives me a business to write off expenses. I keep fighting to minimize my role.

Good luck. I lasted 2-days......... Hated it.
My wife 'retired' 30-days after I did and has worked since (9yr). She is going to try again next spring (not holding my breathe).
Do what makes you happy. More important than $$ or fame.

I'm so busy I don't know how I found time to work. I went 7 years ago at 62 and have never regretted it. My replacement didn't work out either and my boss asked me if I would come back and I just told him I don't have the time. It was nice working and always having money for new audio toys, I just have to be more inventive on ways to save money. More places are offering trade-ins on your old gear.

Gee, I never thought of that...it never occurred to me that I might buy a new phonostage, or a Momentum preamp, no, never thought of it[emoji41]

My goal is to be training someone by February, and back to just a board member/advisor by March.

My definition of retirement is being paid to do what you want, instead of doing what you must. If you want a job when retired - cool. If you don’t - cool. Like others here, since retiring I have been too busy to have a job. [emoji41]

Tony
Look at it as the opportunity to fund a very nice piece of audio gear without dipping into your retirement savings.

Yup...already thinking[emoji41]. Attending an event with Dan D’Agostino next week, that could be trouble.
