Default Jeff Rowland Corus

First I wonder why there is no Jeff Rowland discussion forum in here? I supposed this is a very famous brand in U.S.?

I'm interest in JR's Corus, may I know what is the sonic characteristics of this pre-amp? Can it match with my Electrocompaniet AW-180 power amp? Here is my power-amp specifications:

Electrocompaniet - AW180 Mono Block

THX!!

I have a Jeff Rowland Corus preamp connected to a Jeff Rowland 625 S2 amp and Jeff Rowland Aeris DAC. Some think the Corus is rolled off, but in my system I submit Rowland gear is true to the recording.

One way or another, the Corus is a VERY nice looking preamp!

Sorry that I can't be of any assistance regarding their preamps, but I'm a Rowland fan myself and currently run their Model 625 power amp. I like it so much that I'll soon be upgrading to their current 625 S2. I'm certain that there would be no issue with their Corus driving your EC amps effectively, but you'd really have to hear the combination to know whether it would be to your liking. EC makes fine gear as well.
