Welcome, Shakeydeal...
mac man, regarding the Sophia vs. Sophia 2, can't the original be upgraded to the 2? If so, maybe it'd be good to grab an original, and when you have the coin, send them back to Wilson to do the upgrade. Just a thought... I know the 2s can't be made 3s, but what you're looking at may work.

MUSICA73, welcome aboard!
I am unaware of any cross-over upgrades for Sophia 2 itself. If you are asking does anyone use an external active cross-over with Sophia 2, the answer is "yes I do" to integrate a pair of subwoofers. |

Hello
Active I've tried, but I wanted to do it with a passive crossover. My Wilson Audio sophia II were prepared for active, and they have no crossover, I'm tired of filtering active and I was looking for some crossover scheme with good results, whether original or an upgrade. Thank you very much for the answer |
