Default Recommendations for Straight DIN phono cables

Hi Guys

Looking at some views on what to buy.

pre requisites are

Must be straight DIN and flexible. It is going into the back of my Exclusive P3 table, so into the back of the table, then at 90% up the tonearm mounting hole into a tight fit straight DIN connection.

I took out the 30 year old cable and put in the cable that came with my Ortofon AS309 tonearm. Can't say it was better honestly. I also have a Graham IC-70 that I got with the phantom, unfortunately that is 90% DIN, so cannot fit.

I guess I looking for something that is neutral, fast and pure. I don't need any warmth as my system has plenty.

I guess price range starts at the Furatech AG12 and can go up to the Norost Tyr if needed.

your thoughts are welcome

My vote goes for the Furutech AG12 or the AudioQuest LeoPard. Excellent luck with both.

Hi Jeff

What have you found the main differences in the sound between the furatech and audioquest? Or are they more similar than different

Shane.......I am using the Furutech AG-12 on my Micro Seiki M505 tonearm with excellent results. It is not the DIN version, but the RCA version. The AG-12 improved the clarity and dynamics of my analog rig quite a bit. I am very please with thyis tonearm cable.

Shane.......You know we love to spend other peoples money.

Break in is moderate. I have 50+ hours on my AG-12, and it is sounding open, detailed and smooth. You will like this phono cable.

Synergistic Research Tricon cable. Call the Cable Company - you can borrow from their demo library. I tried the Furutech, Crystal Reference, Tyr, and Graham and the Synergistic worked best for my system and taste.

Hi Boo

I live in Sydney, so unfortunately that great cable co service is not available.

What did the Tricon bring to your system the others did not?
