mcpaf76.......I assume your avatar photo is your system. Looks super. The 75" Sony sure is a popular television size. I went from a 52" to the 65" in my living room and I feel like I am in a theater. It is great to have so many wonderful choices in 4K televisions.

I have one paired to a Sony XBR75940e and the 4k picture is amazing. Need to consider adding a streaming box like the new Apple 4kTV or RokuUltra to add to the experience. The apps on the TV are ok but not as good as stand alone boxes.
Edward.......The new Oppo 4K players are popular. I'll bet it lights up your 75" Sony with a fabulous picture. I have been an Oppo fan for years. I still own the Oppo BDP-83, BDP-83SE, BDP-95, and BDP-105. Can hardly wait for the new UDP-203 to show up.

The choice between LG OLED and Sony is mostly a personal preference type of a thing. I compared them side by side for a few hours making sure I won't have any regrets. Both sets are amazing.

Yeah, paused it while playing some 4k content off YouTube I found. I had a 65 in that spot for the last 8 years or so and I debated staying with that size as it is definitely large. But the new TV has bezels so much smaller than my 65 had, it was virtually identical overall. I also sit a ways back, about 15 feet.

Ok...now you all have sparked my interest!! I just bought a LG Super UHD 4K HDR 55SJ8500 with Nano Cell Display and TruMotion 240 (120Hz Refresh Rate), absolutely stunning picture quality.
And yes searching YouTube and Netflix for 4K programming is easy and visually amazing.

Might add the Oppo to my Santa list....

David.......Cool. The Sony X900E series televisions are stunning. Every day I am amazed at the clarity, color saturation, and detail in the picture. I am positive I made the right choice in 4K. Color me a happy camper.

We should start a thread on this TV and share settings.

Dan,
I have both the Oppo 203 and the 205. The 205 stands in for my MCD500 that's on the blink in the two channel room, and the 203 delivers in the home theater. Both are running to Sony 4K TVs, a Sony 4K projector and a Sony full array back lit lcd. I never look much farther than Oppo. I have Oppo back to the 83SE.

4K with HDR and or Dolby Vision is the only way to go when buying a new TV. I have built up quite a collection of 4K blu-rays.
