Good....those are the ones to have. Riders On The Storm is mind blowing.

Since I decided to put U-Turns Orbit upstairs, I took advantage of Amazon and exchanged this for the Orbit Special.

The Special comes with a Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, tone arm cue, and a solid walnut plinth - it is a step up from the Orbit.

Unpacking and repacking under 10 minutes, the drop off at a UPS is simple as scanning my phone, and done.

It’s sitting on the HRS platform with Stillpoint Minis sandwiched in between, I may try replacing with Ultra SS later this week.

The Kuzma Stabi R should be 2-2.5 weeks out from and man I can’t wait, but this does soften the blow.

Looks good Ed, glad to see you’re having some fun with this. It does bring another element to the hobby!

Thank you!

Yes, this is an incredible interim journey.

Digital is often placed in a position that has to measure up to Analog and it should not have to be, it’s two completely different sources, and both have a purpose.

Knowing clean records are happy records, despite whether new or gems that are found previously played;

IMG_3127.jpg

I thought it was a no brainer to add a record cleaning machine.

Audio Desk; Super solid, small foot print and simple;

An idea of scale;

Awesome, I'm really bad about cleaning my records. Maybe if I had a fancy machine I'd do it more!

Great choice, I love mine.

Again, price aside Amazon can’t be beat, I ordered a Ortofon 2M Blue last night as a replacement to the Ortofon 2M Red before I went to bed, it arrived here mid morning.

I just installed it changing only the stylus, it could have not been easier!

The Audio Desk just proved that it cleans albums with no compromise, and reasonably quiet.

Jefferson Airplane’s Bathing at Baxter, an original copy has surface noise and a few ticks and pops, now gone, it sounds like it’s new, no joke!

I know the Audio Desk Glass is not the most affordable, but anything of this caliber is worth it’s weight in gold out the gate.

Last fun addition this weekend is the Stillpoints LPI, in Black - I haven’t tried this yet, but did let the table spin with it, and the 1.5 lb weight was no issue for the motor in the U-Turn.

Also bought a new Dyson Animal 2 vacuum cleaner on Amazon that will here in the morning for the house carpets in the music room, area rugs and bedrooms - may as well go all in [emoji851]

Have a great weekend!

Ed - The Stillpoints clamp is a great product, works perfectly and keeps records tight against the platter as long as it’s not severely warped. You’ll enjoy using it. Mine made a nice difference over the stock a VPI clamp. Lovin’ the analog Ed we now have!

No doubt the Stillpoints LPI is a top heavy weight contender, pun intended, and the Ultra SS made a difference between the plinth and isolation platform as well.

Sorry, gotta go now, need to clean a hand full of records while listening to music before I go record shopping. [emoji851]

Thank you!
