I'm confused by this thread. Why would you want to buy a speaker that you don't particularly like in certain ways, only to put an equalizer in front of it to make it livable?
And isn't the snell a very old speaker? Surely some modern brand does what you want and outperforms a vintage model. I agree with the previous post, magico isn't warm. Try sonus Faber, they are great speakers that are definitely not bright. |

All speakers are compromised by the room they are placed in. Thinking you can get optimum performance from a speaker by. just placing it in a room and then correcting issues by moving the speakers to different positions and moving your listening chair is just folly.
