You just made my day, Mike! My cat Ringo remembers very well, where virtually everything is (or should be), and he's an exceptionally good problem-solver. Here's a video of Ringo getting his wire ties toys out of the Ikea storage cubby yesterday. I keep it under a Sonoma Raceway notepad, and Ringo flips out the note pad to get to them, because he remembers I keep his wire ties under it. What a character... https://youtu.be/70uWZ5C-mcA

The Chairman of the Board loves McIntosh
Awesome cat, Stephen!
Here’s a great article on Sinatra and those photos above.... “In 1965, the year Sinatra turned 50, LIFE photographer John Dominis and editor Thomas Thompson were, as the magazine put it, "permitted" to spend time with the singer and his crew — friends, family, cohorts, fellow performers — for a cover story the magazine hoped to run. The result was a remarkable window into the man's closely and famously guarded private world, as well as Sinatra's own take on his celebrity and his music. Here, LIFE.com presents photos by Dominis that ran in that cover story, as well as many others that were not published in LIFE.” http://time.com/3619112/frank-sinatr...voice-in-1965/ Last edited by Cohibaman; 04-07-2019 at 04:02 PM. |

Yeah, Ringo (aka Johnny Ringo, deadliest pistolier in The West) is quite a character and also is, very very good at problem-solving. He got back up onto the top of the watch box you see him sitting on in the video, but I had put a roll of electrical tape on the top; it was in his way on wanting to walk over to me. So, he took his left paw and just slid the roll of tape out of the way. He also knows there is a bag of cotton balls in the bathroom cupboard below the sink. He opened the doors, took out the polyethylene bag, and took out a single cotton ball to play with by...opening the ziplock closure! He could have very easily just shredded the bag with his claws, but no, he use the ziplock closure. One of the d*mndest things I've seen him do...he constantly surprises me with how clever he is.

As an aside, I once read that Bill Graham introduced BB King as the "Chairman of the Board" when performing at the Fillmore. This stemmed from BB's impeccable wardrobe of three piece suits.

Besides the Eames chair, that wooden rocker is a George Nakashima chair, or a really good copy/inspiration.
The "hifi" is cool too.
