It's going to get a lot better once you get more than 300 hours on it. Then all of a sudden, it will really open up. And it will continue to improve up to 1000-1200 hours.

The tube will certainly help, but I would also strongly recommend a good power cord, ideally a Shunyata Black Mamba CX or better. If you can't afford that, at the very least spring $95 for a Shunyata Venom3. That WILL make a differnce.

I have, didn't notice any difference. There are also three other layers of metal plates around the tubes under the cover.

Any chance you can snag them and move the MC601s? I know that's probably heresy 'round these parts, but I can't help but think what a killer matchup the 275Ms would be with the ET-5.
