If U asked me if I am a "bass freak", the answer is NO! However, nice bass reproduction is something I would cherish. The likes of Wilson WP7, PMC EB1i, Tannoy Westminsters, ....
Hope I answered your question. Cheers! |

Nice bass ...well thats what you'll get with tannoys ..if the actual spec dont seem to extend as low as you might think / want, dont be mis- led ,... what you get is really good and musical

Would like to hear your advise ... cause I have heard the Canterbury, with and without the 200 Tweeter. With the 200 Tweeter, the speaker gave a sense of airiness. I have never heard the Yorkminster before, so can only gage by specs, which I could be entirely wrong. |

What i like about the Canterbury is the variable bass tuning management system on the front of the speaker .. gives you the ability to stop vibrations/ res.
not , on or off , but a 4 " slot you can close completely in a small room etc .. or vary it tuning to you room I use the 200 Tweeter as well agree .. gives airiness thought you thinking about the westministers ? lucky dog !! |

Thats why I am looking around and so far, the Wilsons (and my current Acapella) fit the space, never more than 14 inches wide. Thanks for the feedback though as the advise will come in handy later on. Cheers! |
