Nice, I like the sidebar about the Ref75. If anyone is interested, I happen to have one on sale here on AA I agree with the reviewer, it is very special, especially in the midrange. That's the one area where I agree...I'm not sure I have ever heard better midrange purity. Mine is not an SE but does have the KT-150's in it.

There was a short thread in September. Roy's work is top-notch and the REF150SE a fine product. Not everyone looks upstream or uses search so no problemo pointing it out. Links to TAB articles are always welcome.

Ken Kessler reviewed Ref 150SE in Hi Fi News on newstand today and scored it 88. A new reference to replace his Ref 75. Basically said the Ref 75 could not drive his Alexias nearly as well as the Ref 150SE. Again repeated Warren Gehl's statements that, in addition to the KT 150s, there are active and passive parts that enhance SQ. Kessler loved it.

I am actually waiting to hear how Kessler feels the Ref 150se compares to the 75se. As he states in the article, he is anxious to hear that comparison.

Looks like I'm a month behind. January issue reviews new ARC integrated. All info is set forth in a separate new thread. KK put KT150s in his Ref 75 and now feels they drive Alexias well.
