I met Jim and Linda tonight.
We had a great dinner with my wife. The evening was terrific. We spoke of many things and not so much about audio but Jim told me a bit more about his love for the D'Ags.
How cool is that to meet our friends in the real life !

We still have no proof that You and Jim exist.

May be it's just one of Ivan's alter egos!

This is the first day I have had a chance to post since Linda and I had dinner with Jerome and Narcisa in Paris. What a wonderful evening we had. The food and wine were excellent and the drive around Paris afterwards was enlightening.

I had no doubt that Jerome and I were going to have a good time but what made the evening so special is how our wives sat down, started talking, and acted as if they had know each other for years.

We may have been brought together on an "audio" website but the conversation that evening was about so much more. In fact I think Jerome and I talked about gear for less than 10 minutes out of 5 hours.

Thanks again for your hospitality.
Jim

Have fun trip! I wish I were close enough in my travels to entertain the idea of meeting Jerome in person!

Here are a couple of photos taken in Normandy during our trip. One is a photo of a very calm Omaha Beach. The other two are from the American Cemetery that overlooks Omaha Beach. A very moving experience.
