Brought a whole stash of 70's blightonian's; Uriah Heep 3CD retrospective, a pretty sound taster CD of Jethro Tull, Judas Priest 2CD hits, and two faves from my youth, Saxon the Eagle has landed, and also Rush exit..stage left. Not a big fan of Geddy's voice, so that will do it for Rush. There was a lot more bubbling under the surface of Floyd and Purple.I'll get around to UFO in the near future.

Nice listen. More jazz fusion than rock to my ears but I still think it belongs in this thread. Try it out.

A musician of abundant prowess, former Focus guitarist Jan Akkerman once eclipsed Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck in England's reader polls as the world's best rock guitarist. Akkerman is fluent in most guitar languages and plays several instruments. He is adept at rock, jazz, funk, blues and classical music. He keeps up with technology and isn't afraid to appear on stage with dance music DJs in the 21st century.

New "Clutch" album popped up on Qobuz today.

I can go for some "Clutch" from time to time.

Tubes and headphones of course, the way I like to enjoy most of Rock these days. Makes the sound much more palatable and digestible. Although this album does not sound "hot" or overly compressed to my ears (tubes and sennheisers) but I did not play it over the main system.
