Default Golucid's Audio Rig

I have been a high end audio enthusiast for two or is it nearly three years...I don't remember precisely. Nevertheless, A short time ago. Without further ado. This is how things are shaping up. I roughly have the gear I want, now time to focus on esthetics.

For now this is where equipment goes to die. I recently purchased the MDA1000 and pulled out the MCD1100. I need to finish designing my audio rack so that I can incorporate the MCD back into my rig. Oh, the KL and AD. Retired July 2015. Want them?

This is where I keep my favorite and frequently played LPs and other toys. The rest of my LPs are stored in a closet with shelving. Oh yes, this holds one heck of a lot of CDs too.

David.......Those stacked MC2301's are amazing. I never tire of looking at a beautiful rack of McIntosh gear. Truly stunning.

Dan...

If you recall sometime ago, I had a tough time designing the amp stands with Sound Anchors. But in the end, remaining optimistic and positive, they did a superb job and I am never concerned that the Amps have ample breathing room and these stands are off-the-hook massive steel.

Meanwhile, I am still crafting the audio rig design and then will filter to Sound Anchors for fit, finish & precision. Not only are they heavy but the also fill the steel tubes with either sand or kitty litter. I need to clarify what they fill them with.

FYI: once I finish the design concept, I will loop the drawings to you in a PM for input.

David.......Yes, I remember well the initial difficulties you had when designing and having Sound Anchor build the MC2301 stands. The final result looks incredible and functions perfectly. That is an excellent way to install and display those amazing amplifiers.

Looks awesome, David. Those MC2301's are truly spectacular amps!

I hope you're liking the brother to my MC402 as well.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone for the kudos. The current main gear setup is for me a bit of an embarrassment until my new home is built with its dedicated soundproofed room. Until then, my McIntosh gear is in the ghetto!
