Default Aries 3

Hello everyone,

Are there any Aries 3 owners out there?

How does this table compare to the Prime or the Classic 3 ( signature)

Thanks,

Erik

I recently corresponded with HW, I asked about Aries 3D (aries 3 with 12" 3D arm) versus Prime. He said .....

A 12" 3D Aries is better than a Prime by a long shot.

I did not inquire versus Classic series tables.

I have been told by a dealer that the Aries is a better table than the Classic 3. The Aries is a smaller HR-X, sort of....

I had a Rega P9, which is a very fine table and well regard, my new Aries is a different breed compared to the Rega. I am enjoying it and expect to really love it once broken in.

Vego, just sold my prime and received my aries 3 yesterday. There is no comparison in build quality, the Aries is in a different league. Can't say on sound yet as I don't receive my cart until later today

How is your Aries sounding now? What cartridge did you mount? Also, what feet are on your Aries? Thanks.

Sounds excellent! I mounted a ortofon cadenza red. I don't know what feet they technically are but they look the same as the ones on your table.

Thanks again for the info.

I am strongly leaning towards the Aries 3D, will need to wait until my wedding and honeymoon is over.
