Read the manual to learn how to restore to factory setting. That might do the trick.

I once had the same issue a few years ago with the K-03x. I shut down and unplugged the unit and let it sit for a bit and then powered up again. I may have done a reset but I do not recall since it has been a few years. I got the tray to open and retrieved the disk. What I found is placing the disk securely toward the back of the tray helped and have never had another issue. This was a one time occurrence and has not happened since. Wish you well. Jim

I know it's not a funny situation to you, but this quip is hilarious.

Here's hoping it barfs up John soon. And NOT like a dog does after a bone!

My experience a couple of year ago with my K-01 was that once Ivan got involved, I got the player back quickly. Seems like only a week including shipping.

That's good to know for future issues for all of us.

This is not good! Looks like I need to send it for repair. It’s gonna be hard to live without. [emoji24]

Did you get the K1 to throw up? 🤮

This happened to my K-01X. I got the disc out and haven't had it happen again in a couple years. I never hit the open/close button until I have hit the stop button twice. I believe it happened to my unit because the tray was trying to open before the disc had been unclamped. Hope you get it fixed asap.

Dave
