Hi,

Since there is a question/comment here, it seems important to respond. Wilson, like any other company, is free to contact us to send us any product for review.

Ask any dealer who happens to carry Wilson with some of the other speakers mentioned in the same letter and ask him how well the Wilson line sells for him. I know the answer to that and I guess if Wilson is so bad then most audiophiles just have bad ears and have no idea what they are hearing anyways as there have been a whole bunch of them sold in past few years. I can't say the same for the competition.

They measure better than older Wilson's, but off axis in the treble region is still problematic.

EDIT, welcome Doug!

I agree. I'll bet Wilson has sold more Sashas than all of the Vivid and Magico
models combined.

Doug, welcome to AA!

I just wanted to add something to this interesting thread. As I have stated many times in the past: Everyone is entitled to their opinions - reviews and consumers alike, and that is OK. Although I do not agree with Doug's remarks concerning Wilson Audio (being I am just a tad bias), I respect his desire to give his readers his honest opinion.

I also wanted to thank those of you that support and enjoy Wilson Audio. I have enjoyed reading your comments. Thank you all, and happy listening!

Doug, welcome aboard. We appreciate honest opinions and spirited discourse here. I for one appreciate a reviewer that does not think that every item he has ever reviewed is the greatest thing ever.

But I am particularly happy to see that you realize that audio is still mostly a matter of opinion - which is just fine. This is not about "right" or "wrong" or "superior" or "inferior," it is about what particular sound works for each of us in our rooms, with our gear and our ears. Like I said before, I have no problem with you saying that Wilson is not your cup of tea.
