jazz |jaz|
noun
a type of music of black American origin characterized by improvisation, syncopation, and usually a regular or forceful rhythm, emerging at the beginning of the 20th century. Brass and woodwind instruments and piano are particularly associated with jazz, although guitar and occasionally violin are also used; styles include Dixieland, swing, bebop, and free jazz.
• informal enthusiastic or lively talk, esp. when considered exaggerated or insincere : all this jazz about how they can't afford it is preposterous.
Well done Bart !

Is Prince a jazzman ?
I don't know whether Montreal is following Montreux' lead or vice versa, but they both have their fair share of crossover acts at both festivals. When I was at Montreux, two years ago, Chickenfoot played there!

I wouldn't call Prince a jazz guy, but certainly a highly innovative musician. KD Lang was also there, and I wouldn't actually call her a jazz artist either. Honestly, it doesn't bother me one bit.

I guess, I'd call it a "mostly jazz" festival!

And I too, love Montreal, so it's fine with me, however they want to proceed.
