Last night at Mediterra in Princeton, NJ, but we had a great pitcher of 'sparkling' sangria. Pitcher was about half full of pieces of excellent apple, peaches & oranges to which they added two full shots, each, of peach schnapps & brandy with a large dash of Triple Sec and enough orange juice to fill the pitcher to just over half full. To this was added about 1/2 a bottle of chilled Prosecco. This was then poured over more fruit and ice in our glasses and the balance of the bottle of Prosecco used to top up our glasses and the pitcher. Delicious and an ideal libation when sitting outside in 90F temps enjoying tapas. Fortunately, were in the shade with nice breeze and were quite comfortable. Breakfast on the canal at the Lambertville Station in Lambertville, NJ with a bloody Mary to compliment the Eggs Benedict with crab & lobster. A good time was had by all.
