Thanks for the heads-up Phillippe. It's a nice looking tt, but gravitate more towards the metal surround on the P7. Are these new tables available yet?

Listened to it at the Paris show. Brilliant with an Apheta cart.
Just magical. Glorious. I'm in love with the Rega sound.

Yes, I saw prototype photos of this at RMAF; knew it would be coming. This is why the P5 was discounted in the October timeframe.

The P6 is intended to bridge the P5 and P7 tables. The plinth is the same as on the P3/24, and should be available in a no. of colors. The brace is a magnesium alloy instead of the polymer brace on the RP3. Platter will be 16 mm and there will be a new TT-PSU design that will, incidentally, be usable with existing P3/24s, P5 and P7s.

The same RB303 arm on the RP3 is used, but it's not clear yet if the arm will match the performance of the RB700 arm on the P5/7 (which is outstanding in my experience).

There is a quasi-metal sublatter, but I would put a Groovetracer Reference sublatter on any Rega below the P9.

Doug,

A Rega TT is a great way to go back to vinyl. It does not cost a fortune and will get you a terrific sound. They are also a breeze to set up.
No matter the model: you just cannot go wrong with Rega.

I dunno....I think they have an clean, understated elegance reminiscent of the Scandanavian school of design...
