My apologies Matt - I thought i was answering omodo's comment to me in a pm with a quote in a pm, and not posting back to that thread. What a dork.

Matt
He is trying to sell his speakers. If you know something about them that isn't right, you should probably pm him. |

I think I read in Matt's site - maybe in the comments somewhere? - that the port placement on the PL is variable and has to do with tailoring it to your room. Several examples of the PL can been seen on Matt's site. All lovely. Cheers!

So back to the point gentlemen-
It seems then, that there's no issues with the Petite Latour speakers for sale on Audiogon ? I'm no expert, however the pic from Shindo (as stated), appear to be identical to the ones for sale- My 2 cents- David |

There were no aspersions cast on any one person, Mr. Williams.

Similar cabinet volume. There is a slightly different sonic presentation vis-à-vis narrow and wide baffles. It ultimately depends on room size.. wide baffle can be used in smaller room, because the speaker is less deep. -M |

Please provide us with your proof of observations that led you to make the above comments Simple no? Also to post on a members for sale item with an unproven statement is in my book poor form YVMV (Obviously DesW Last edited by DesW; 01-21-2013 at 12:34 AM. |
