According to my personal experience NIRVANA (even the "little" SL) is a very good match with SOPHIA (mine are the original model).
Compared to Transparent, FYI I had a 10 years old model SUPER, one is Music and the other is impressive Hifi. The Transparent is fantastic for a demo and impress your friends visiting your home, but far more natural sounding/heart touching is the NIRVANA.

ps: btw I have two very different amps; CELLO E150 or Air Tight ATM-1.

Noli, most of the Wilsons I heard have transparent cabling on them. Wilson speakers uses them on their internal wirings.

Default Cables

I have had great success with Omega Mikro Ebony Active cables. Previously, I used Transparent Reference. But have found that the OM delivers much more detail, speed and above all musicality.

I've been using Purist Proteus Provectus S/C's and I/C's, first with the Sophia 1 and now with the WP 8's.

what are the benefits of using the transparent speaker cables with the wilson speakers ?
currently using the analysis plus oval 9s. While they are sound quite good with my new sophias3, i'm just wondering what added benefit if to use the transparent cabling ?

A richer, more relaxed and full bodied presentation with transparent with perhaps just a touch of a loss of very top end extension. A sacrifice well worth it in my book. It's no secret what the network boxes do, they are a filter that cuts the upper end response of the cable above the audible range but have a smoothing, calming effect on the tweeter.

Serge-thanks for the fast reply.
I really should look into that as soon as funds permit.
Do you think the Transparent Plus would be good enough to start with ?
currently am just using a Luxman 100w s/s int amp & loving the sound.
Even a cheap us200 yamaha cd player as source sound already quite good w/ the Sophia 3s.

Don't go crazy with transparent, you'll most likely discover their bottom end cables will please even the most critical ear with the much more expensive upper end adding more spatial information, a bit more resolution and a touch more bass articulation and definition. The price difference is pretty steep for the difference though...

If that is the case i'll just buy their Wave for $200.00/ 8 feet
You dont think it will be put the same even in the company of the expensive amps ?
