So it's about 11 hours now and 1.2TB transferred with 17 hours to go. A heck of a lot better than before.

I had errors when copying with drag and drop. I ended up deleting everything starting over using the app. It took about 36 hours to pull over 4tb from my NAS. Which isn’t terrible. Copying the same data to a backup USB drive takes a similar amount of time. .. just make sure everything’s tagged correctly or you’ll end up repeating the process. I did after retagging with Yate.

Does Yate let you update meta data in bulk or do you have to select each album individually?

You can update in bulk. I added artwork by album, but tagged artist and album artist in bulk. I wanted consistent tagging across each artist. It drives me nuts when I have 2 or 3 different listings of the same artist or album.

Yate is awesome. Tags every kind of file you can think of and does it quickly. Also it has a feature to easily search for and import artwork
