Owing an Accuphase amp and knowing a bit the different TAD models, I cannot foresee any issue. I would even imagine a quite good match indeed. If I had the room and money, I would probably use the Ref One with my A-65.

Where are you located in Europe, byZan?
Have you seen the Ref One (used) sold in Switzerland for 39K€? I would really like to have the option to spend that much for hifi, right now!

I live in Sweden and I have seen the ad on Ref One (thanks for the tip), but there is a lot of money even if they are used.
As I wrote earlier, it's my dream to own a pair, and that's why I'm trying to find out how they could possibly play together with my current equipment. Changing everything would ruin me and no money left to purchase the software (cd / vinyl).

I see and understand your situation, byZan.

By the way, let's not under-estimate the quality and value of the more 'affordable' TAD Evo-1. These speakers were really singing during the last Munich hifi show.
However, I believe these smaller models are "Made in China" and at this price tag level it would bother me somehow (just a personal point of view).

I've heard all three, listened to them in direct comparison.

I would choose the CR above the Evo-1. But that is maybe because I love classical, jazz, singer-songwriter, acoustic, blues...

Kind of like being invited to a 3-way and you're being asked if you want a blonde, brunette or a red-head... in the final analysis, the experience might be good regardless of the ingredients.
I've also have owned both but not at the same time. I would also say that using pre McIntosh 601 and the TAD's would be on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Excuse John Thomas, but I do not think I quite understand what you mean, so can you please explain.
